What to do if you are in the middle of losing your tennis match

Christy Hey with the Junior Tennis blog talks about her experience in junior tennis and the three things she did to help her come back from matches she was losing. Anyone that has played competitive tennis has been there- down one set and quickly losing the second set. You think you will be able to remember what to do but in that situation but even the basic things are hard to remember. Listen to this important blog and take notes to keep it in your tennis bag. Next time you get in that situation you can review these notes and turn that match around.

  • Great information, Christy! 1. Slow down. 2. Change strategy. 3. Never give up. Ok, I’ll work on it. I also love the idea of putting these reminders on a note card to review during the match. It’s so easy to get caught up in the intensity and emotion of competing that you forget to do these things. Thanks for another great post!

  • I totally agree I always get so caught up with my emotions! Thanks for the great advice.

  • Hi thanks for the great infomation i agree but it is something i do not always do. I sometimes look at my dad and he signals to me to slow down.
