Perhaps. But Tennis needs to focus more on the game, and much much less on making money from it. Once it was Tennis with some business thrown in. Today it was the other way around. I never thought that I would attend Wimbledon and be glad to get out the gate. I did this year. Totally over commercialised.

The tours schedules need to be looked at. The WTA is the best example.Players are going from Japan to China, then back to Japan. I suspect having a number of Premier Tournaments so close to Slams may account for the number of pull-outs we saw this season.

Hi, I ran into your site after I was reading up on tennis. It is an utterly tremendous game but it takes so much practice to get descent at. Federer is my favourite player after his victory yesterday. Keep up the pleasant work.
